The Havoc Road-Lock AD500.4 is a complete, purpose-built motorcycle audio system designed to install the powerful Aquatic AV AD500.4 600-watt marine-grade four-channel amplifier in the saddlebag of compatible Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles.

Rather than piecing together an amplifier installation from universal brackets, power wire and assorted connectors, Road-Lock provides the major components needed for a clean, organized and secure saddlebag amplifier installation. The system combines the Aquatic AV AD500.4 amplifier with Havoc's custom Road-Lock amplifier bracket, dedicated wiring harness, marine-grade signal cables, amplifier trigger wiring, mounting hardware and saddlebag security hardware.

A Purpose-Built Harley Saddlebag Amplifier System

Installing an amplifier inside a motorcycle saddlebag presents a few challenges. The amplifier must remain securely mounted under vibration, the wiring needs protection and organization, and expensive audio equipment should not be hanging from a universal bracket designed for something else entirely.

The Havoc Road-Lock Saddlebag Amplifier Bracket is designed specifically for this application. CNC-bent and laser-cut from durable 14-gauge steel, it provides a rigid mounting platform for the Aquatic AV AD500.4 while helping to keep the amplifier, wiring and connections organized inside the saddlebag.

The Havoc logo is laser-cut directly into the bracket, reducing unnecessary material while opening airflow behind the amplifier to assist with heat management.

Road-Lock also includes stainless saddlebag security hardware designed as a theft-deterrent upgrade for compatible Harley-Davidson Touring saddlebags using quick-release quarter-turn-style fasteners. When your saddlebag contains a quality amplifier and expensive motorcycle audio equipment, making the bag less convenient to remove is simply good sense.

Intelligent Cable Management

A saddlebag amplifier installation should not leave power, ground, signal, trigger and speaker wiring hanging beneath the amplifier or lying across the bottom of the bag.

The Havoc Road-Lock bracket incorporates intelligent cable management at the top of the amplifier mount, providing a dedicated area to route and organize the amplifier wiring. This keeps cable connections above the floor of the saddlebag rather than allowing wires to hang beneath the amplifier or become buried underneath whatever you carry in the bag.

Power, ground, RCA, trigger and speaker wiring can be routed neatly through the upper cable-management area, helping to keep wires off the bottom of the saddlebag, protected from damage and out of your usable storage space.

At the heart of the system is the Aquatic AV AD500.4, a powerful Class D digital four-channel amplifier built for demanding marine and powersports environments.

Run all four channels independently:

Ideal for systems using combinations of fairing, highway bar and saddlebag speakers.

Run Two High-Power Bridged Channels

Bridge channels 1+2 and 3+4:

• 2 × 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms

A powerful option for riders using high-output speakers requiring substantially more power per channel.

Speakers and a Dedicated Subwoofer

Configure the amplifier for a three-channel system:

• Channels 1+2 power a stereo pair of speakers
• Channels 3+4 bridge to power one 4-ohm subwoofer at 300 watts RMS

This configuration allows you to add dedicated bass without requiring a second amplifier.

Dedicated Two-Subwoofer Amplifier

Bridge both channel pairs:

• Channels 1+2: 300 watts RMS
• Channels 3+4: 300 watts RMS

The AD500.4 can also serve as a dedicated 600-watt RMS bass amplifier while another amplifier powers the main speakers.

A quality amplifier installation depends upon more than the amplifier itself. The Road-Lock AD500.4 kit includes the dedicated Road-Lock 500.4 marine-grade wiring harness, designed specifically around this saddlebag amplifier installation.
